My beta and I got together for reading over lunch today! And I specifically waited until we did to post, because I really, really didn’t want write again that that we hadn’t met yet.

I also hooked up with a writing buddy and did some monster research this morning. I have a plan for 2 to 3 stories, which is nice. Hopefully I can get a buffer going. While deadlines will force me to write, I prefer not to have that sort of stress. I used to keep nine months to two years of stories as a buffer. But I burned through it when I hurt my back. Hopefully, I can get back into good habits.

Now all of that being said, I am also starting Chelsea end game, which is so, so satisfying. I’ve known the ending for years, and have been winding my way there. I’m not saying to expect a huge FIN in the next year, but I can see the signs on the road for the ending.
