Yesterday was slammed at work. Much more of what I’m used to for this time of year. I did not have a moment to concentrate until the end of the day and then I was too used up to try. So no, no writing yesterday. Not sure how today will look. We might have had […]
As I figured too much painting this long weekend. My kids will be finishing it up today. We had a heatwave and took it easy. Even in the air conditioning, moving around too much can get to you out here. It’s the lack of water. Anyway, I have no idea how this week will play […]
No writing yesterday. I was busy with projects in the morning and then people came in. It happens. And really it should be happening more often. But we’ll see about today. I would love to get Decemeber’s story done so I could take a break and plan out a bunch of them. Anyway, I have […]
I did start the next Chelsea story. I’m setting up for a big fight, so I have a few quieter stories, slice of life type stuff and a big ol’ info dump on the monster. Both of which are fun to write. Also, I have to walk into work today and tomorrow, so hopefully, that […]
Yesterday was about as busy as I thought it would be. I didn’t have the time to focus on much outside of work. But Wednesday days tens to be slower, so hopefully, I can get some words in today. I’ve been thinking about my novels a lot recently. Songs are triggering ideas and scenes. My […]
While I didn’t get any editing done, I did finish October’s Chelsea story, and made real progress on painting my living room. Our house was built in the 1970s and it shows. It’s a split-level, semi-open floor plan, and my living/dining room is a HUGE L-shaped room. It’s the truly BIG painting project in the […]
Walked into work again, wrote most of another Chelsea story. I could have finished it, but it felt disjointed; which is an accomplishment with only 800 words. I think I can fix it though. It’s a rare one that’s mostly built on previous stories. I just have to accept that and link people to all […]
Walking seemed to help. I banged out a Chelsea story yesterday. I’m hoping to get enough to push it to November. My unbelievable buffer of two years came from writing at NaNoWriMo. The first year, I got a buffer of one year. The next year I pushed it out to 18 months. Then I had […]
I did not write yesterday. It was another busy day at work and when I did finally get some downtime I felt brain dead. However, I am walking into work the next two days and that usually stimulates creativity. I like walking. And I won’t be walking with the dogs, so I have all my concentration […]
My right hip popped out of place Friday night. I’ve been trying to get it right since then and was in quite a bit of pain most of the weekend. I’m feeling better today though, if still stiff and sore. It’s cold up on my mountain. Like yesterday was 50 and rainy. We had a […]
