Chelsea’s fingers drummed against her steering wheel as she glared into the dark streets. Velvet winter night had taken over most of the city, but between worrying about Jack and Amber and having to be in New York, her nerves were raw.

The old, uneasy feeling of too many people watching her slithered down Chelsea’s back as she rang Andy’s doorbell. She truly hated New York City.

When the camera on the door didn’t move, she rang again. After waiting far too long for Andy to acknowledge her, Chelsea raised a fist and banged a few times. “It’s me. Open up.”
