Yesterday, I gave out my list of things that had to be done.

I actually crossed a few of them off. The Bowman’s Inn stuff, and getting the October Chelsea story ready.

Then I turned my thoughts to the Red Witch. It’s been a while since I worked on it. I had had dreams of getting it done by August…

So picking it up again, feels so, so, so good. I really love this world and these characters.

However, I had a dilemma. I can already see some changes that have to be made.

On the other hand, I’m 2/3 of the way through this draft.  I could finish it, and then get all the bugs out at once.

I spent about three hours contemplating this last night.

In the end, I started working on the next chapter. I’m a big fan of finishing what I start. Also, I want to see if the ending I have in mind works. I won’t know that until I write it.

Nobody promised me that writing was easy.
