Success revised

I had big plans for yesterday, and they mostly didn’t go through. My beta was busy all day, so no editing. I did attempt to clean out my closet, but quickly wore out my arms. Yes, my back injury affects my arms, as well as my hips, and my legs. Anyway, I might have to just acquiesce to doing it a little at a time. Pick one part and do that. Like yesterday, I got all my sweaters put away in the cedar chest, but then I needed to stop and sit. Today, I think I’ll organize my shoes. Hopefully, it’ll only take 4 or 5 days to finish that way.

I did, also, get some scene work done. More plotting than writing, and for my novels, not Chelsea. But I do want to work on those. I’m stalled on Book Two of Six, and the plotting was for Book Three, but I like that I was thinking in terms of scenes and conversations and not just going, “Damn, wish I had the mental fortitude to be doing any work on my writing.” Edie and company are still mentally *with* me, thank all the gods.

Anyway, today I start my week, and it might be busy or slow, I won’t know until I get there. We are trying to change out an exhibit, but our volunteers are snowed in/having surgery/have covid, so who knows when we’ll be able to get it done. If it’s slow, I think I’ll do some research into March’s monster and get my visuals together. My new playlist is started, but I’m still curating. So some time looking at pictures and listening to the right music is on the cards for today. Which, yes, is a part of writing. Getting the right mood always helps with a story.
