Walking seemed to help. I banged out a Chelsea story yesterday. I’m hoping to get enough to push it to November. My unbelievable buffer of two years came from writing at NaNoWriMo.
The first year, I got a buffer of one year. The next year I pushed it out to 18 months. Then I had two years of stories, releasing two a month. I can get it back.
I now am covered to September. This particular monster hunt might carry me to December. I have a plan, but much like Chelsea, my plans have a habit of falling apart once the action starts. I admire the writers who are more like Matty and can plan it all out in advance, but I know me.
Anyway, my hip isn’t quite back in place, but it’s close enough that it’s not bothering me most of the time. I keep doing my exercises to realign it and, hopefully, I’ll be back to normal soon.
I’m going to attempt to start October’s story today, and getting together with my editor this weekend. I have two stories to read to him, might as well try for three.
