There was no writing nor blogging last week, because my job is shutting down for the month of January. We had a lot to do to prep for this, plus three holiday parties in our banquet room. Basically, my brain was on autopilot.

This week? The week of the Solstice, right before Christmas? Yeah, I might be able to write, but who knows for real. I’ve got a brainful of presents, cookies, and glitter. I’m not even writing dialogue mentally to fall asleep at this point.

The good news in this is that I get the entire month of January off. I plan on finishing my skirt that I’m sewing, painting my kitchen, and finishing a few stories I have rattling around. I will be writing daily starting January 2nd when the kids go back to school.

Until then, read up on some old Chelsea, maybe buy a book, and I’ll see you in the new year.
