On my to do list for this month off was cleaning up this blog. I didn’t realize how badly I had lapsed this year.

But the index is updated and now I’m going to start uploading stories. I actually have a few done, so I have a tiny back log. With my new writing table, I’m really hoping to improve on that. It really does make it easier to focus sitting here. Once I get it painted and properly set up, I’ll post pictures.

My time off is almost up. I did not get my kitchen painted, but I am getting through years of grime to prep it for painting. It’s more organized and more comfortable that it was was three weeks ago. I’m certainly spending more time here. As I wanted to. I’m far too Italian not to have a kitchen I can hang out in.

It’s been a productive month, if not as productive as I dreamed. It was cold and icy, and I had a few bad days. But I’ll be ready for the warm months, and this year, I don’t have a puppy to train. Although Parker will hate every part of me working outside since he can’t be there. Tiny dog is cute, but he would absolutely lick paint thinner and try to eat a sander.

Slowly this house is becoming what I need it to be, which in turn makes doing things like writing much more fun and productive.
