I spent the Fourth as I traditionally do, painting and fixing up my house. I found a fabulous chest of drawers from the 70s that fits my living room perfectly. That in turn gave me motivation to work my end tables. I’m not done with those, but I made significant progress. Mostly though, I sat around with my husband eating good food and drinking a little too much.

Yes, I skipped publishing last week, but I usually do on holiday weekends. I promise to behave next month and publish on the first Saturday. Seriously.

Anyway, it’s back to work and I’m hoping to get into the routine of writing the in mornings and reading in the afternoons.
