No, I didn’t get any writing done yesterday. Nor did I get to the chores on my list. My washing machine needed maintenance. As we have a family of five, it’s not optional to be without one. So I spent my day working on the machine with my husband and reorganizing my kitchen when I […]
Holiday prep is a bitch and I gave myself some grace. As I made a really good apple pie I consider it good self-care and a total win. However, I am mostly decorated, getting caffiened, and have a fire going. Once the house is toasty warm, I plan on decorating for Christmas, doing Physical Therapy, […]
Not for NaNoWriMo. That’s busted and gone by me. But I am writing every day again. Work is slow in general, so with a few minor interruptions I can edit or bang out words. Whatever I am feeing that day. I am enjoying rewriting the Lost Story. I’m very clear on beats there, so I […]
Another day, and more words. I’m still not at 100%. This cold is lingering, but just for me. Like my husband is already feeling better than I do. This has been my norm since I became disabled. Sicknesses seem to linger in a way they never did before. Whatever, I have stuff to write. And […]
I’m finally almost better, and getting words. I’m skipping from project to project, but I am writing. Hopefully, I get my goal for the month of a years’ worth of Chelsea stories. But I am happy just to be writing again. And not to be hacking my lungs out.
Still hacking up phlegm, but feeling better overall. Not even trying for NaNo though. While I have zero doubts that I could make up my word count, I don’t need that kind of stress in my life. I’m just going to keep chipping away at Chelsea. Anyway, here’s to new stories! I actually have some […]
The cold is getting the better of me today. I’m home in bed. I may get some writing done. I may nap in a decongestant haze all day. We’ll see what happens.
While I did get some writing done the last few days, it was no where close to word count for NaNo. And honestly, I’ve already lost interest in trying to make up my words. I’m still stuffy headed and exhausted. I will obviously keep on writing daily, but I just don’t have the mental energy […]
Of course, I’m sick. Nothing major, but I’m coughing so hard it sets off muscle spasms. I got absolutely nothing done Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. And I may end up back home this afternoon. So yeah, I think my WriMo is busted this year. We’ll see. Anyway, I’m gonna lean back and drink some more water […]
I’m still behind on word count, but far less so than day one. I might have made word count if I could have found a setting for the next story. But, I still made up a lot of ground yesterday. With any luck, I can do it again. I also now have 2.5 stories in […]
