Yes, I started NaNoWriMo yesterday. No, I didn’t make word count. This is the last week of the art show, so I’m still a little busy at work. But things will get real slow, real soon. I’m going to try to catch up, of course. On my good days, I can easily double and triple NaNo’s […]
Well, hello, my little nun.
“Their father was a good man, but he liked women. La Llorona isn’t too fond of men like that. Their mother took exception to La Llorona killing him, cause wanderin’ eye or not, that was her man. La Llorona drowned her for it.”

“The legends say she’s the ghost of a woman who killed her own children. But the hands that drowned my mom were solid and real.”

Yesterday was slammed at work. Much more of what I’m used to for this time of year. I did not have a moment to concentrate until the end of the day and then I was too used up to try. So no, no writing yesterday. Not sure how today will look. We might have had […]
As I figured too much painting this long weekend. My kids will be finishing it up today. We had a heatwave and took it easy. Even in the air conditioning, moving around too much can get to you out here. It’s the lack of water. Anyway, I have no idea how this week will play […]
