Back to the Beginning

As much fun as I had in San Francisco, it wrecked my newly fledged writing habit. Nice weather here didn’t help.Still I was determined to read to my editor last night. Then my back acted up. The good news, I was able to sleep it off, for the first time ever. And as sleeping is […]

Another busy day

I was not expecting two very busy days in a row, but quite a few folks are coming back to town now that winter is over. I’m talking about our regulars and folks who contribute to the museum. So I was busy glad-handing and welcoming people back as well as my usual duties. Nothing onerous […]

No writing yet

Yesterday was a busy one at work. New vendor and lots of visitors. I may have to start writing when I get home as we are getting into our busy season. That being said, I’m anticipating getting some editing done this weekend. I want to read through the two other finished stories and get them […]

Back to Work

So no writing since last Friday, no editing either. However, I am back to work today, so we’ll see. I don’t think I’ll have a ton to make up, but with the weather getting warmer, we may have folks visiting.

Vacation

Yeah, I’m back, finally. If you don’t follow me on Insta or twitter, you didn’t know that my husband “kidnapped” me from work on Friday. He, and my boss and coworkers, planned a long weekend in San Francisco. I was left unaware of said plan until 10 minutes before we left town. So, no, no […]

Wait, what?

Even though I typed up a post yesterday, I apparently never hit the button, so sorry? ADHD is a bitch. That said, I’m working on July’s Chelsea story. It’s a little slow going because I always get slow on the actual fight scenes. I am going though. No stopping, I swear. To make up for it, […]

Winter is Killing Me

Woke up to a bright day yesterday. And then it started snowing. And as I stared at yet another incoming storm, something in me broke and died. I might have been at work yesterday. I might have gotten some stuff done, but mentally, I was finished. I blanked out and really didn’t come to until […]

Chelsea Learns the Plan

This is a series of short stories, detailing the adventures of Chelsea Childling. You can start with her origin story or pick something from the index.*** The sterile grey of the highway fell away as Chelsea turned towards the back roads. Her directions from her current partner lead her down a dirt road to a field with an […]

And done

Yes, I edited last night. Finally, got together with my editor and read some stories. I am set for next Saturday! That being said, I still have a lot of writing to do. I only have two drafts in the hopper. I thought about doing Camp Nanowrimo this month, and I still might. I have […]

Not checking those boxes

Yesterday, turned out… weird. Despite much snow, we were busy at work. I did get some of my maintenance done, but I do actually have work to do, especially when we have paying customers. And then I got home, and my editor had to reschedule. Considering that I read stories out loud, I get it. […]
