I set out to finish my latest work in progress last night. It’s just a fight scene. It’ll be utterly terrible for the first three revisions, and then it might be ok until I get a better idea. But I need to get something on paper if I want to fix it.

I ended up writing and rewriting the same 250 words about six times. After ninety minutes, I gave up and watched some Supernatural.

After three episodes, I rolled over, snuggled Clark and Ollie, and planned out my fight. I ran through seven or eight scenarios, and finally settled on a game plan.

Then I woke up this morning and realized that my plan leaves out two characters I introduced this story, ie making them meaningless to this particular story.  And I need them for the over all story…  So I’m banging my head against the wall. Hopefully with coffee will come inspiration.
