So yesterday, I finished up the new first chapter, opened the second chapter, and immediately hit a wall.

See, I read over my notes for the chapter, and I have a few characterization issues that need to be unpacked. 

For right now, I’m just trying to adjust the narrative to the changes that I already decided on, while also discussing the characters with my critique partners. I also plan on writing the other chapter that I know needs to be there. Probably tomorrow.

The main thing that I have to remember is that novels are long term projects.
