So Publishing Day ran smack in to technical delays… *Sigh*

We’re completely ready for tomorrow though. I swear.

As for me, I’ve been working on Red Witch in the mean time. I’ve been unhappy with the direction the story took. I knew what kind of story the series needed for book two, and I hadn’t written it.

Normally, I would wait until I finished the draft to go back and fix it. But I just couldn’t. When I hand this draft off to the betas, I don’t want to send them notes and caveats. I want them to have a clear view of what I’m trying to do.

So I read and reread over the weekend until I found the place where I could break off from the current story and get things back on track.

There’s a lot of drafting in my future, but I’m looking forward to it.
