Back to the Grind

I got my story revised, edited, and uploaded for this weekend, so I don’t feel like a total failure. Hopefully, I cam get some words in later today. It’s pretty quiet at the museum, so I might be able to take advantage of it. We’ll see how things look this afternoon.

I didn’t forget

I absolutely remembered this blog yesterday. I also fell after work the day before that. And falling is the #1 thing I am not allowed to do. I have been barely functional since. I’m still in a lot of pain, and in fact, will not be making it in to work today (even though I […]

Busy Days

I didn’t forget about this.

I just had another full day at work, and I’m not mad about it, but it’s…brain drain and back drain.I can’t focus and my back hurts from sitting in one position for too long, which means I *really* can’t focus. For the sake of honesty, I will likely be a mess tomorrow night too. I […]

Chelsea Gets Going

He sipped on his coffee. “Where you off to?”
“Not sure yet, but I need wide open spaces. Might be headed back to South Dakota.”
“And Amber?”
She forced back the tears. “She has my number, and she’s hunting again. I’m more likely to find her on the road than stuck here.”
“Stuck?” A single eyebrow raised at her.
“I hate this city. Always have.”
